Black Girl Magik seeks to create a community among women of color to explore, express, create and conjure conversation, art, and self-care. Our programming and production connect talented WOC across creative industries. At BGM, we believe that when individuals are equipped with the necessary tools and support, they can create healing and empowering opportunities for other women through their experiences.
We organize, host, partner and develop a variety of programming; from self-care and healing workshops to panels focused on professional exchange or critical discourse, each event is focused on unity, empowerment, and growth. Our production is centered around the arts, community, entrepreneurship, mental health, and personal and professional development.
BGM-led panel discussion consist of highlighting various WOC to provide insight on their experience. These events can be hosted in collaboration with Black History Month, Women’s History Month and other similar themes.
